The Eddie Soens Memorial Cycle Race takes place on the Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th March 2019 with a starting time of 9:30am. The event will be held in Liverpool at the Aintree Golf Centre. The event type is road and the entry closing date is Sunday 4th March 2018. This will be the 58th edition of the race and will cover 50 miles of the ‘Club Circuit’ based at the Aintree Racecourse – a whopping 30 laps.
The race is run on a handicap basis and is open to all categories. The Soens race was created by the Kirkby Cycling Club, where it is now promoted by the Merseyside Cycling Development Group. 2018’s winner was Jon Mould from the JLT Condor group and 2017’s winner was Ed Mould, also from JLT Condor.
This event will be the first of many for the ProVision Race Team this year, who we are proud to be sponsoring.
