A mech hanger, also known as a derailleur hanger, mech dropout, rear mech hanger and MTB hanger, are pieces of metal that are designed to protect the frame of your bike. They are designed to either bend or snap to prevent any damage to the frame of bikes. Carrying a spare derailleur hanger is always a smart move because you never know when you will need a replacement mech hanger, because it’s not ideal when you’re halfway across the world on a cycling holiday and your rear mech hanger snaps.

Derailleur 421 is designed for the Orange Bike P7 models from 2016-2021. All of our mech hangers come in a standard black anodised finish, making them suitable for any coloured frame. Not to mention, they all have superior strength and great durability.
